They are made from wheat straw, a bi-product of wheat farming, which would otherwise be burned. With innovative material science it is turned into these gorgeous sunglasses, improving sustainability and reducing air pollution. They are biodegradable over time so will leave nothing behind once they've reached the end of their life.

Weighing only 20 grams and with UV400 polarised lenses, BioSunnies are superbly light and comfortable and offer full UVA and UVB protection, eliminating harmful glare from reflective surfaces like water and snow.

They are super tough and a very affordable sustainable choice.

Perfect fit for car sunglasses holder

Great sunglasses that perform well. Good 'green' credentials and polarised which I like. Bought my first pair while in a National Trust gift shop, but my partner kept using them so I bought another pair form the guys at Eco Beach. But the main reason I bought these is that they fit neatly in the sunglasses holder in the roof of my car (just)! Most sunglasses are too big, but these are just the right size and shape.
